Membership We welcome new members to the Association. Membership is open to all with an interest in gemmology and who share the aims of the Association to promote interest in, and the study of, gemmology in Scotland Our meetings, conferences and other events are open to members and their guests. Membership requires a subscription of £25.00 for ordinary members and £10.00 for a student attending full-time education. An SGA member is entitled to a substantial discount to the delegate fee for our annual conference and also free attendance at our regular evening meetings If you have attended an event run by the Scottish Branch of the Gem-A before, then you don't need to support your application If you have never attended any kind of event before then you should fill in the form and either, get support from two existing members or, alternatively, if that is not possible, state your reasons for joining. Every application will require approval from the Executive Committee of the SGA and the Committee reserve the right to reject an unsuitable application, where appropriate.
